Casein Hydroylsate (Enzymic) 5Kg
MAST® Enzymic Hydrolysate of Casein is a tryptic digest of casein. Enzymatic digestion is less severe than acid hydrolysis, producing a hydrolysate rich in amino acids and vitamins, although the nitrogen components are less precisely defined. Its high tryptophan content makes it suitable for indole production tests. Free from fermentable carbohydrates, it can be used in growth media for biochemical studies and may substitute for peptone in most formulations.
