Mast Group shortlisted for Research and Development Achievement Award

We’re delighted to announce that we’ve been shortlisted for the Research and Development Achievement Award at this year’s Pharma Industry Awards UK, in recognition of our work developing Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing.

For over 25 years, Mast Group has been at the forefront of research, development and commercialisation of innovative phenotypic diagnostic solutions designed to detect clinically important antimicrobial resistance mechanisms. Through a sustained programme of scientific research, collaboration with leading microbiologists, healthcare institutions and pharmaceutical partners. Access to emerging inhibitor compounds through pharmaceutical development partnerships enabled Mast R&D scientists to evaluate and incorporate novel molecules before widespread clinical adoption, creating highly differentiated diagnostic solutions. Today, Mast's AMR detection portfolio is used in more than 35 countries across six continents, supporting hospitals, public health laboratories, academic institutions and healthcare systems worldwide. This award recognises our continuous dedication to advancing the fight against Antimicrobial Resistance through effective diagnostic innovation.
